Where Our Legacy comes from
Our Legacy says it was founded in 2005 in Stockholm, Sweden, by Jockum Hallin, Cristopher Nying and Richardos Klarén. Its info page describes a brand known for applying custom-developed fabrics to signature shapes, with men’s and women’s ready-to-wear built around a progressive exploration of seasonal themes and careful attention to detail. It says the label sits at the junction between familiar and irregular, with reworked yet recognisable silhouettes that recur across sub-categories. The range covers jeans, shirting, jersey, knitwear, outerwear, leather, suiting, footwear, bags and belts, sold online and through its own stores, including ones in Stockholm, London, Berlin and Shanghai.
What Our Legacy stands for
The brand’s product pages are specific about fabric: each piece names the material and often its origin, such as Italian selvedge denim, Portuguese cotton jersey, Turkish denim and Italian leather. Most pages do not say where a piece is made, though we saw “Made in Portugal” on the Compact Roundneck. The pages we read give no certifications or sustainability figures. Denim pieces carry a note that the treatment can bleed colour onto lighter surfaces and that each garment will distress over time. We haven’t tested any of the products.

Ordering from the US
Choose the United States in the store’s country selector to see dollar prices and US delivery terms. Orders ship from Sweden with DHL Express in 2 to 5 days and need a signature. Delivery costs $20 and is free on orders over $250, and it doesn’t deliver to PO boxes. The brand says US shipments are delivered duty paid, that the checkout price includes all applicable tax, duties and tariffs, and that it guarantees no additional charges on delivery. Returns are free on US orders. You can request a return within 14 days of delivery, using unworn, unwashed items with their original packaging and labels, and exchanges aren’t offered, so you place a new order instead. Returns can take up to 10 business days to process after arrival, and sale items can’t be returned in a store.
