Privacy Policy
Euspree ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by the Euspree team, based in Aarhus, Denmark. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Danish data protection law.
If you have any questions, contact us at contact@euspree.com.
1. Data We Collect and Why
1.1 Newsletter sign-up
When you subscribe to our newsletter we collect your email address. We use this solely to send you our newsletter about European brands and related content. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter email.
1.2 Contact form
When you send us a message via the contact form we collect your first name, last name, email address, and message. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to communications (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
1.3 Automatically collected data
When you visit euspree.com, our hosting provider (Netlify) may log standard server data including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used for security and performance monitoring. We do not use this data for profiling or advertising.
2. Third-Party Services
2.1 Google Fonts
This website loads fonts directly from Google Fonts servers. When your browser requests a font file, Google may log your IP address. We use Google Fonts for typographic consistency across the site. For full details see Google's Privacy Policy. A self-hosted font solution is something we plan to implement in a future update to minimise third-party data exposure.
2.2 Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links to third-party retailers. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, the retailer's own privacy policy governs any data collected during that transaction. We do not share your personal data with affiliate partners. We may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you — see our full Cookie Policy for details on tracking.
2.3 Hosting
The site is hosted on Netlify (Netlify, Inc., 44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA). Netlify processes request data on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement. For more information see Netlify's Privacy Policy.
3. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries. For full details, including how to manage your preferences, see our Cookie Policy.
4. Data Retention
Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are retained for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are retained according to Netlify's standard retention policy.
5. Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — you may ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — you may ask us to delete your personal data where there is no legitimate reason for us to continue processing it.
- Restriction — you may ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
- Data portability — you may request a machine-readable copy of data you have provided to us.
- Object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@euspree.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. However, no internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
